This is a comprehensive look at your emotional wellbeing, cognitive functioning, behavioral patterns, current and past symptoms (and diagnoses, if applicable), and relevant history to gain clarity in understanding the factors that are underlying current problems.
Ideal candidates are folks who have a complex history of seeking therapy, medications, and treatments, and do not feel that they have a clear understanding of what “the problem” is or what treatment avenues will be most effective.
Assessing cognitive, neuropsychological, and executive functioning involves a comprehensive look at an individual’s history, academic and occupational strengths, limitations, and overall functioning, and performance on a variety of cognitive and executive tasks.
Ideal candidates are those who have a history of difficulties with learning, understanding, attention, and/or task initiation or completion, and would like clarity on the source of these issues and tailored interventions and recommendations.
The primary goals of therapeutic assessment are to complement the work you are doing in psychotherapy and deepen an understanding of yourself, relationships, and life patterns. It is a highly collaborative process meant to facilitate positive change.
The ideal candidate is someone who is invested in their therapeutic journey, is ready to foster greater awareness of their underlying drives and motivations, is open to feedback, and ready to integrate insight into their life to make lasting changes.
Dr. Lindsay Murn is not a forensic expert and therefore assessments needed for forensic or court-related matters are not offered.
The total cost of a comprehensive evaluation is between $1,035 - 1,460, depending on time and assessments needed. Testing includes a 90-minute diagnostic interview, 5.5-9 hours of assessment(s) administration, scoring, and interpreting results, and comprehensive report writing, and a 60-minute feedback session.
